It's almost noon here and y'all are probably still sleeping at 5:00 am.

I drove a 5 gear diesel truck today from a seat on the right side and on 
the left side of the road. It felt like there were people, bicycles, 
piki piki, matatus, cars and trucks swirling all around but it went just 
fine.I was glad I'd been riding around for the last 2 months so it felt 
more natural than had I just arrived. Now I need to be concerned that 
I'll readjust quickly to driving on the right when back in the U. S. And 
that will be in three weeks. In a way it seems like time has flown and 
in another t I feel like I've been here for ages. Whatever, I''ll be 
really happy to see y'all.

Right now I'm working on a news letter to a group of donors in the U.K. 
who have been helping to fund the renovations at the Kaimosi Hospital. A 
lot of this kind of work has fallen behind due to the involvement of 
Friends in the relief, peace and reconciliation work with the IDPs.

I don't know what is on the agenda for the next two days but know that I 
am supposed to accompany John Muhanji to Uganda on Thursday for three 
days. He needs to do some "peace and reconciliation" among the YM board 
there.
